Job Overview:
The primary objective of this role is to assist the Design Coordinator liaise with Production, Marketing and Accounts to ensure that they all get the information they need to ensure that there is consistent work flow in all departments. You are required to make sure that all the products that are in the design department in-terms of samples, set samples are documented and are in the system. All the products in the department have barcodes and can easily be tracked in the system.
Main responsibilities:
- Create order sheets that will be handed over to production
- Create new products on the back end of shopify with the correct information
- Ensure that the department meets their daily targets to production
- Ensure that all orders have production samples
- Create orders for products that need set sampling and content
- Assist the buyer in pricing products after receiving the costing sheets
- Assist in create Range plans for the stores and adding the colours that have been assigned to collections
- Work with other departments to ensure that there is always work in the pipeline for production
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related field (also degree in fashion is acceptable but has to have an interest in data entry)
- Proven experience in distribution or logistics, preferably in the fashion industry or any other field
- Strong understanding of distribution processes and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software
- Tech Savvy. Knowledge of and experience working with ERPs or stock management systems. Excel skills Office proficiency.
