Job Purpose:
The CCTV control room operator will be responsible for continuous surveillance, business intelligence collection, evidence collections and maintenance, CCTV equipment maintenance, maintaining records and providing timely and implementable reports and recommendations. The role strengthens security and access controls, and enhance a proactive approach in incident management.
- Surveillance - Carry out surveillance on all business premises. Coordinate with store managers, security guards and relevant heads of departments to respond to any identified risk.
- Intelligence Collection - Assist the business in collecting insights, data and intelligence around production and retail operations.
- Record keeping and Reporting - Maintain occurrence and equipment maintenance registers among other records. Ensure all data recorded in the process of surveillance is safely and securely maintained. Maintain video footage for purposes of evidence in accordance with Evidence Act and other relevant laws, as required. Provide weekly and monthly reports.
- Compliance and Governance - Utilise surveillance tools in enhancing and enforcing compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
- Quality Standards Development: Develop and implement quality assurance standards and systems for garment and fabric quality, including setting benchmarks for fabric printing.
- Process Establishment: Design and establish quality inspection and assurance processes, ensuring alignment with international quality standards.
- Team Building: Recruit, train, and lead a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a culture of quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Vendor Quality Management: Collaborate with fabric suppliers and manufacturers to establish quality requirements and conduct audits to ensure compliance.
- Quality Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for quality improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the design, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality assurance processes and address quality-related issues promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks in the production process and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Innovation and Research: Stay updated with the latest quality control technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices to keep Vivo at the forefront of quality assurance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Security related discipline from a recognized University.
- 3 years’ experience in CCTV control room operations.
