Job Purpose
The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR Operations, majorly on recruitment and onboarding and support in other roles as, employee relations, performance management, training & development, among other functions. The role holder will ensure that the organization operates with a productive and engaged workforce while maintaining compliance with labour laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for production and administrative staff, ensuring alignment with workforce needs.

Support the organization in understanding talent needs. Provide advice on the appropriate hiring strategy and approach

Conduct screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires, ensuring compliance with hiring policies.

Maintain up-to-date recruitment tracking records. As needed, provide analytical reports on recruitment and selection-related data, metrics and trends on a regular basis to support decision-making, workforce planning and development.

Identify and manage external recruitment partners, including recruiters and agencies, prioritizing the company's efficiency and effectiveness in the recruitment process.

Oversee all the communication between the organization’s hiring managers/recruiters and candidates.

Maintain manpower planning and workforce forecasting to support operations.
Performance Management

Support the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely completion of evaluations.

Work with managers to implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for underperforming employees.

Analyze productivity data and recommend HR interventions to improve employee performance.
Training & Development

Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs for employees at different levels.

Ensure health and safety training is conducted regularly, in line with industry regulations.

Track employee participation in training programs and measure training effectiveness.
Key Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods.
- Strong decision-making skills
- Knowledge of labour legislation and fair employment practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field
- Atleast 5 years of experience in overall HR Operations with 3 years in recruitment.
- Experience and competence in effectively using HRIS and ATS systems to improve the efficiency of the recruiting process.
- Ability to work in a fast paced/changing, deadline-oriented environment.
- Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation.
