It’s that wonderful time of the year again – Mother's Day! A day dedicated to honouring the incredible women who have shaped our lives with their boundless love and unwavering strength. 

At Vivo, we believe that every mom deserves to be celebrated, which is why this year, we were thrilled to present our Mother’s Day collection, Kelemi, in collaboration with the talented Gospel artist, Kambua. Together, we’re celebrating the essence of motherhood, weaving together the vibrant threads of African culture, music, and fashion.

Named after the Amharic word for "colorful," each piece in the collection was meticulously crafted to showcase the beauty and diversity of Made In Africa fashion. From intricate patterns to luxurious fabrics, Kelemi embodies the rich tapestry of African heritage, creating a collection that is truly one-of-a-kind.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect match!  Our beautiful partnership with Kambua was fostered because Kambua, a beacon of inspiration in the music industry, has devoted her career to inspiring change and uplifting others. Her passion and dedication resonate deeply with the spirit of Mother’s Day, as we pay homage to the nurturing and transformative role of mothers worldwide. 

Motherhood is a journey marked by moments of tenderness, resilience, and joy. It’s the soft embrace of a mother's arms, the soothing lullabies that calm restless souls, and the unwavering strength that carries families through life’s challenges. In Kelemi, we seek to capture the softness and intricacies of motherhood, celebrating the remarkable women who navigate this journey with grace and courage.

In addition to our exquisite collection, we have initiated conversations on motherhood through our YouTube channel, “Whispers of Motherhood.” Where we  had the privilege of hosting insightful discussions with inspiring mothers who share their experiences and insights on finding balance in motherhood.
